First hour with your Campers

 Before Campers Arrive:
 Pray together (Leader and LIT)
 Clean
 Make Name Tags for bunks
 Decorate Cabin
 No Loud Music!

 As they Arrive:
 Smile!!
 Collect medical forms, tuck money, waivers?
 Greet child first, than parents. Check to make sure they are on your list.
-if not, ask if they got switched; have LIT run check neighboring cabins
 Look for bed wetters: direct them to a lower bunk.
 Help child with their stuff
 Introduce camper to other campers
 Have some good questions ready
-been here before? -Favorite activity? -where are you from?
 Tell the camper where the bathroom is.
 Tell them how excited you are about the week; talk about new facilities.
 NAMES! :very important to learn them.

 Once everyone is there and somewhat settled:
 Guys: like doing activities; Jungle Swing, tag, etc.
 Girls: Human Knot, name game, enemy protector.

 Cabin Rules: make them together, decide on consequences.
 Pump up the cabin and the excitement of the week ahead.
