Brave Heart Game

-Walk out to the field and meet all together in front of truck
explain rules of game
split into two teams
-Two teams go to separate corners of the field and start to get ready
split into 3 tunka groups
create flags symbols
paint tunka groups with the symbols
delegate knights
-Horn goes, teams meet in their safe zones
-Second horn goes
-at the end of a 2 rounds the store opens and warriors can pass on their lives to others who can purchase different weapons and other upgrades.

War chief-
Looks-most decorated,
Role-encourager, in charge,
Lives-5 lives (tape ribbons) gives out ribbons, awards kills
Powers- pool noodle sword that wounds warriors so that they cannot kill for the rest of that round awards 3 kills from a warrior with a new life, 5 lives they can resurrect someone.

Tunkas-
Looks-arm bands around biceps
Role-Leader of Flag groups
Lives-3 lives
Powers-pool noodle sword that wounds warriors so that they cannot kill for the rest of that round. Assist War chief with after round clean-up and awards

Warrior
Looks-painted as their flag group
Role-general fighters
Powers-none, they can gain lives, resurrect foes, pull down flags, kill other team, defend their own flag, carry own flag.
2007 variations-teams are divided into 4 groups. Three warrior groups and one archer groups. The three foot solider groups can cash in lives from the other team between rounds to buy some special items

Archer
Looks-painted as a warrior with painted noses
Role-General fighters, can upgrade with arrows
They carry one arrow to start with and once it is thrown they are just like any other warrior. Archers can only throw from behind their warriors front line. Cannot throw over handed. If anyone is struck by an arrow they are dead for the rest of that round.

Medics
Looks-red cross on their face
Role-general fighters that can revive players that are down by giving them a new life.


STORE-2007 variation
Between each round each team has a store that they can but things from. Items they can buy are.
2 lives-extra arrows (just archers)
5 lives-swords (not archers)
3 lives-shields (not archers)
1 live-new life (medics only)

Marking Teams
-Head band and a life-
-painted as they want







Field set-up

Game Rules
-There is no physical contact, grabbing, hitting, tackling, holding, pushing
-head bands are untouchable and everyone must wear one
-life goes in pocket or in side of waist band
cannot be tied
cannot be wrapped
cannot be like a tail
must come off of side of body
extra lives goes in apposing pocket (2 maximum)
-game start with air horn blast
safe zone you are in is no longer a safe zone
once you enter other safe zone you are safe and cannot leave it
-If life is pulled you sit on your butt on the ground
cannot raise butt
you may still pull lives as they run past
you cannot move
-If you capture a life
keep it to turn into war chief
-3 for extra life
-5 for resurrection of friend
-if batted by pool noodle WOUNDED
can no longer kill
can only run to safe zone
-if hit by an arrow
You are dead
Sit down and hold your life up in the air
Archers come around and collect the lives of the dead after each round
Can only be killed by an archers direct hit

-make a circle and send in best warrior
-pool noodle
-water balloons
-dodge balls
-padded balls with flagging tape ribbon
-cardboard shields
-store-cash in lives for props
