How each thing works

- Start-up
o Welcome them to the Isle of Sunnybraeia
o Introduce NSS
o Let them know why we have brought them here
 Rich guy bought island wants to build a Club Med, will bulldoze isle to make resort, all history and cultural stuff will be lost. Has given a prize to the archaeological team that saves the most history through collecting artefacts and adventure experiences. NSS was brought into document and regulate the findings
• Tell them about how artefacts work, what they look like
• Tell them about recording their achievements
• Tell them about coming and making money by assembling skeletons for the museum
o Introduce the heads of the universities
o Hand out Field Journals
 Includes tuition money
- What to do first
o 1. You can go and explore the Isle
 You can start trying to find artefacts right away. Some you will be able to find without help or resources but most will need one or the other or both
 You can go to NSS and try and earn some more money
 You can go to the black market and see if there is anything going on there
o 2. Go and join a university
 Check out the three universities
 See what they have to offer
 Fill out application papers
 Pay the tuition
 Negotiate fame %

o 3. Go and talk to the locals
 There are a couple of locals who know stuff about the island that might be invaluable or worthless
• May take some bribing
- Game Options
o Universities
 All Discovery and Adventure reports must be made in association with a university
 After you are accepted by a University and have paid tuition you can borrow some resources
• You can only borrow one resource at a time
• If you use a resource you must bring it back to be able to borrow another resource
• If you want to withdraw or transfer the borrowed resource must be returned to proceed
• If you borrow a resource and do not get fame from using it or take too long to bring it back the university may decide that you are not fit to be part of their school and kick you out or they may want to renegotiate your fame % more in their favour
• Some resources like money do not necessarily need to be returned
• Some resources like a linguist will offer their services for a set period of time
 If you fail to bring in enough fame a university may drop their affiliation with you or renegotiate their fame % with you
 Transfer papers have a cost
 Withdrawals you will get back 1/3 of your tuition
 If you make a lot of fame for a particular school you can renegotiate your contract in a positive manner giving you more fame per discovery
 Each university also has a treasury and after you make a discovery in their name they might be willing to give you cash bonus for your efforts
o NSS
 Recording discoveries
• Each time a golden artefact is found; that artefact must be brought to the NSS and a discovery report filled
o Discovery reports incl.
 What
 Where
 When
 Story of How it was obtained
• Potential bonus fame for good story
 In what universities name if any
 Who it was discovered by
o NSS needs to check Credentials to see if the group is part of any university
o Golden item needs to be turned into the museum for proper display and recording
 Recording Adventures
• One can also get fame from completing adventures.
o Adventures have to be witnessed by a guide and have the guide give them a completion paper
o You pay for 15min to try and complete a task
o You have to pay for each additional minute
• After adventure is completed go to the NSS and fill out a adventure report and give them your guide completion paper
 Museum
• NSS will categorize and display all artefacts submitted, will be viewable to the general public
o Dig Site
 The (volleyball courts) have coloured fragments buried in them and are sectioned off into 6x6 foot sections
 Each section can be rented for 5 min of exploration
 Sifters can be gotten from black market or university
 Each coloured fragment found can be submitted to the NSS
o Parchment Cliffs
 The cliffs are the climbing wall.
 There are approx 30+ ancient parchments in the cliff walls
• Some can be reached by the ground
• Most you have to climb the wall for
• Climbing gear is a resource available for borrowing from UA
 Climbing without gear is not allowed.
 One cabin is allowed access to cliffs at a time
o Cliff Adventure
 The bouldering wall is a potential challenge that a group can do with the help of a guide (UE) only
 If the group can get across the wall in 15min they will get fame. If not, no fame
 Every person that falls minus some fame from the total
o Sunken Vessel
 Sea Captain takes groups for a price to the sunken vessel
 People get to pick one of the three buoys to haul up and see if the find the cage with an artefact
o Golden Pearl Dive
 Nationalist will take you out in canoes to dive site for a price
 You climb on the platform and have 2 min to see how many golden pearls you can find
o Castaway Crazy Guy
 You can pay the crazy guy some money to tell you stories about the golden skulls on the isle of sunnybraeia
o Black Market
 There is a black market in the playground where artefacts can be sold or bought for a hefty price
 There is also an assortment of resources available for retail at the black market
 If you sell university resources to the black market you will be black listed by the Universities and not able to be in school but it might just be worth it

The link for the picture needs to end with .jpeg or whatever coding it's in. The direct link to the image.

This game sounds HUGE! What did you guys use for your props-pearls, cages etc?
