What type of Pellet Gun has worked well for you?
We at DBC have used Gamo pellet guns (sorry don't have the exact model right now) for the past four years. They have worked pretty good but have since been shot out and we cannot find replacement parts for them. My question is what pellet guns has your camp used, how have they worked for you, do you have a gun you would suggest?

QUOTE FROM COLTER
Hey brother,
We had Gamo - Deltas for a few years, but found the cheap feel of the synthetic stocks were too tempting for kids to treat with less respect. They felt like toys. Also, they lost considerable power over the years.

We have been using Daisey - Winchesters 500x for the last 4 years, and I love them. Extremely durable. The major downside is that they are alot harder to cock then the old Deltas, so some kids need help. They haven't lost any velocity in 4 years though, and they have really taken a beating.

Once the Winchesters die out we'd probably think about finding a gun with more middle ground. Something Easy to cock, but with enough meat to it that it won't be mistaken for a water gun.
I hope that helps.

I have been looking at the daisy as well from before and it looked alright. The local guy here wants to sell us Gamo again, but I fear he may have business motives, rather than children motives behind it. I may glance around their site to see if there is a slightly less powerful gun. The muzzle velocity might mean creating a bigger shooting range (not a problem, but something to think about)

After taking the time to take down the gammo deltas I can post a manual of how to repair/maintain these guns. I gain some decent feet per second after cleaning and relubing the guns.
If someone want a short manual posted just say so and I'll put it up.
