Grid Wars
I have not tried this game out but it seems like it could be a winner. Please post if you have tried it and what variations you used to help.
Grid Wars-create a giant grid with enough spots for 3/4 of the people you have that you have. Sides start with reinforcements behind the grid line. Reinforcements move into any spot on the back line. When a reinforcement enters your square you then move into any square in front or beside you. The goal is to have two( or any set #) players make it over the back line from your team. To battle you can do paper rock scissors with the loser walking off to become another reinforcement. You cannot fill your spot you have won until someone bumps you up with a reinforcement. Tie something on their hand so they win when a tie occurs in paper rock scissors (this give some players an advatage that will have to be countered by the other team).
Another version would be to use dice to place against each other with ¼ of each team have two dice to play while ¾ have 1. The highest number wins.
Ideas for grids
-flour lines
-flagging tape taped onto floor
-tarp with lines painted or tape lines
