Waterfront Games - Camp Homewood

There's really not a lot to add to Ness's List. It's fairly extensive.
Here's a couple games we really enjoy on the island.

StephanBall -
(Created by one of our Camp Legends) Campers are split into 2 teams and put in various watercraft (Kayaks, Row Boats, Canoes, Surfboards, etc.) A staff member stands on a dock or some vantage point and bats or
launches a "StephanBall" (Some sort of rubber buoyant ball) wherever they please, once the ball is hit, the round is on and the teams try however they can to get to the ball and get it back to the dock. Once the ball is delivered, the team that does so is given a point. The most points wins.
Tipping boats is allowed, dunking people is not.
Switch it up by launching 2 balls, or whatever.

Turtle Race -
Teams of campers race from point A to B completely hidden underneath flipped over canoes. Wearing life jackets is probably a good idea cause it can be very tiring to push/swim the canoe.

Relay -

Pretty much a combination of all the waterfront goodness you can muster. Very competitive and enjoyable. A typical Relay at Homewood looks like: Teams start with a 200 yard Canoe race, they hand a baton off to team members in Row boats. They row to an island and hand off to runners. The runners cross the island and hand off to waiting Kayakers and they paddle back to waiting swimmers. Swimmers swim 50 yards to the dock where it started and climb up the Cargo Net. The race finishes there.
More then 2 teams is a lot more fun. It is however, a pain to coordinate.
